Hiking
You do not have to venture far from your door to enjoy the extensive trail system that is right here on Wilson Ranch. From here you can journey down valley on the Methow Valley Community trail and watch for wildlife along the cascading Methow River. For more adventure, head west on Highway 20 and explore hidden lakes and high meadows in the North Cascade Mountain range, often referred to as the “Alps of North America”. Trail maps and information on trail conditions, level of difficulty and distance are available at Jack’s Hut.

Mountain Biking
Jack’s Hut offers mountain bike rentals for all ages and abilities available by the hour or by the day. Trails diverge just outside your door and allow you to find a gentle mountain trail for the most inexperienced rider, or a strenuous alpine path for the more advanced. The Freestone Inn is the hub of some of the best mountain bike and road riding in the Methow Valley, and in the northwest.
